Practical Gifts for Valentine’s Day
It’s that time of the month again where love is in the air, Valentine’s Day is coming. Have you got a date already? Where are you going to celebrate it? at the mall or at the school’s cafeteria? How about the gift?
I’m sure it’s still a question to every guy, what gift they can give or what place they can take their special someone. Surely, I’m no expert, but I can give a few tips from a girl’s point of view when it comes to giving the right gift.
1. Chocolates
Let’s go down with the basic, Chocolates. You can never go wrong with chocolates, who wouldn’t want one? But instead of having the ordinary ones from the market why not have it customized for an affordable price.
At Robinson’s Galleria you can find the Barris Chocolates. It’s the type of chocolate where you can either have the wrapper customized with words or choose from their variety of lettered chocolates to compose your message. As low as 10 pesos per letter you can already have a box of chocolate and just like their tagline “say it with chocolate”, it can do the speaking for you.
2. Art Museum
Let’s keep in mind that February is not all about Love or Heart’s Month but also the National Art Month, if you and your date are both artists or into the idea of appreciating artworks then this could be the perfect place for you.
Our very own National Museum has opened their gates for free since July 2016 for those who would like to visit. This is a good place to have a day of creativity and history at the same time. The fun of appreciating art just like how you appreciate your valentine date will surely give you plus points.
3. Parks
I think one of the great places to go on a date is at a park with music and food. This is a good place to relax and allow time to pass by as you enjoy the moment.
Head over to Greenfield District Mandaluyong where they have a special Valentine’s Day offer for those who wish to celebrate earlier.
At Greenfields Mandaluyong you have 3 days earlier to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Just like their tagline for the month of February “Heart Beats, A Greenfield District Valentine Weekend”.
Schedule:
February 10, 2017 (Friday)- 7pm to 12 MN – Kaleidoscope Market
February 11, 2017 (Saturday) – 4pm to 12MN – Greenfield Weekend Market
February 12, 2017 (Sunday) 4pm to 10pm – Sunset Fair
Not only does Greenfield serve you with delicious food to satisfy your appetite, they also accompany you with a live band to further entertain you on your date. Who knows you may even request a special song for your loved one. Also, if you’re the couple who’s the adventurous type, you can head over to their activity centers, just a few steps away from Greenfield.
Valentine’s day is not just for couples but it’s for everybody who knows how to love. These are just few of the places and tips where you can go out and celebrate this Valentine’s day. Maybe it’s the time to give your mother a rose to show her how much you appreciate her; or your grandmother for making one of the best snacks or even going out with your friends just to celebrate. Spread the love this Valentine’s day and always remember that it’s the thought that counts, all the time.
